In July 2024, I had the privilege of providing Funeral Live Streaming and Webcasting services for a funeral held at St Margaret’s Church in the beautiful village of Hornby, Lancashire.
St Margaret’s Church is a stunning historic church set within the Lune Valley and provided a peaceful and respectful setting for family and friends to come together to remember and celebrate the life of their loved one. As with all funeral live streams that I provide, the focus throughout the day was on delivering a professional, discreet and reliable funeral webcast service for those unable to attend in person.
For this funeral webcast in Hornby, I used professional 4K video cameras and dedicated audio equipment to ensure that online viewers could clearly see and hear the entire funeral service. Clear audio is especially important during funeral live streaming so that hymns, readings, eulogies and personal tributes can all be heard properly by family members watching remotely.
The live streamed funeral service allowed relatives and friends from around the UK and overseas to be part of the service from wherever they were watching. Funeral webcasting has become increasingly important for many families across Lancashire and the North West, especially where travel, illness or distance prevents attendance in person.
Throughout the service at St Margaret’s Church, the filming was carried out as discreetly as possible so as not to distract from the occasion. My approach to funeral videography is always respectful and sensitive, working closely with funeral directors, church staff and families to ensure everything runs smoothly on the day.
The funeral webcast was streamed securely online in high definition and could be viewed on phones, tablets, laptops and smart TVs. A recorded version of the funeral service was also made available afterwards, allowing family and friends to watch back the service at a later time if they were unable to join the live stream.
Providing Funeral Live Streaming in Lancashire, Cumbria and across the North West has allowed many families to stay connected during difficult times. For many people watching remotely, being able to see the service live, hear the tributes and witness the farewell means a great deal and helps them feel included despite the distance.
Purple Videos Ltd provides professional Funeral Live Streaming, Funeral Webcasting, Funeral Videography and Memorial Service Filming throughout Hornby, Lancaster, Morecambe, Lancashire, Cumbria, Greater Manchester and across the North West of England.
