It’s hard to believe that Christmas is here once again. It’s a nice time of the year to rest and reflect.
I want to start by thanking all of you for your support in 2017, I’ve really enjoyed this past year and look forward to what 2018 has in store.
As I reflect on this past year, there has been lots of highlights. The main one would be fulfilling my long time dream of setting up a brand new editing suite which makes work so much easier! It’s so good to have a place for everything and even the simple things like having a kettle to make a brew!
Other highlights have been filming a 200 strong, Male Voice Choir in Bolton in early June – It was a great sound and I was really pleased with the finished product that we made.
Filming in Iceland and Rome was simply awesome! We didn’t manage to see the Northern Lights in Reykjavik which was sad, but it will just mean we have to visit it again!
The dance shows again have been of the highest quality, especially at Carlisle Dance Academy where they put on 2 fabulous shows.
Finally, the Stock Footage which I sell with Getty Images and Istock by Getty has been selling really well! I’ve had some fun shoots this year in a purpose built prison, a courtroom and hiring a stadium for a football fan shoot. My biggest ambition for 2018 is to make much more footage available and make all the ideas I have written down into reality!
