Conference // Hybrid Event Live Streaming in Lancaster, Lancashire - LitFest

In March 2022, I had the pleasure of providing the Live Streaming for LitFest 2022 in Lancaster, Lancashire.

This was their first In-person event since the pandemic, so they were keen to have a Live stream webcast option for people who weren’t confident to come and sit in the live audience, as well as for those people living far away from Lancaster.

Live Streaming for Hybrid event / conference in Lancaster

There were about 24 sessions that I live streamed from 3 different venues in Lancaster – The Storey, Lancaster Library and The Royal Kings Arms Hotel. People were able to buy tickets and watch either live or on catch up via Crowdcast.

I used 3 video cameras as well as a feed from a Laptop and switched between all 4 sources. I also installed microphones in each venue to ensure great quality sound.

The organisers were thrilled with the results – Here is what one of Litfest’s Trustees, Bill Swainson had to say:

I wanted to write to thank you for dealing with each session so calmly and professionally, which helped us to adapt to changes forced by Covid but also to manage the usual bumps in the road that occur during a festival.

If I can be of service to you in terms of Live Streaming or the Webcast of a Conference or Hybrid event, please do get in touch here. I would be delighted to assist you.
