In August 2026, I was pleased to provide funeral live streaming at St Margaret & St James Church in Long Marton, near Appleby-in-Westmorland, helping family and friends come together to remember a loved one, including those who were unable to attend in person.
It was particularly meaningful to be asked to provide my services for this family for a second time. Being entrusted to live stream another funeral for the same family is something I really appreciate, and I’m grateful they chose Purple Videos Ltd again to help them share such an important occasion.
Funeral Live Streaming and Outside Loudspeakers
Working alongside Glyn Jones Funeral Directors, I provided a professional funeral live streaming service to allow those unable to attend the service in person to watch remotely from wherever they were in the world.
The church was not large enough to accommodate everyone who wished to attend, so I also set up loudspeakers outside the church. This meant that those who could not fit inside could still hear the service clearly and take part in the occasion from outside.
Providing this additional sound system can make a real difference at a busy funeral, ensuring that everyone has the opportunity to hear the tributes, readings and prayers, even when the church is full.
A Photo Montage After the Funeral Service
Following the service, I also provided a 75-inch television screen in the village hall, where family and friends gathered for refreshments.
The large screen was used to play a photo montage celebrating the life of their loved one, giving everyone an opportunity to look back on treasured memories and share stories together in a more relaxed setting.
Photo montages can be a lovely way to bring people together after a funeral, providing a personal tribute and a chance to remember the special moments that made someone’s life unique.
