Frequently Asked Questions
What will be on the Wedding DVD?It depends on which package you go for, the basic package will have shots of the venue, people arriving, full ceremony and the bridal party leaving. Other packages include the reception, speeches, cutting of the cake, first dance and evening party. How long will the finished DVD be?Again, it depends on which package you choose, and whether it's a church or civil ceremony. It also depends on the length of the speeches! Generally, most DVDs are between 1 and 2.5 hours. When will we receive our edited Wedding DVDs?We aim to have the Wedding DVDs ready within 2 – 3 weeks (This may be longer in peak times). Do the Wedding package prices include any Church or Performer fees? No, Sadly if the church or anyone else charges you 'Video fees' you will have to cover that cost. Sorry! What equipment do you use?We use professional equipment! We use Sony video cameras and a Sennheiser radio microphone. We edit the wedding footage on professional software to add all the final touches & effects. Do you come and meet us before the big day?We always try and meet with the Bride & Groom prior to the wedding to discuss your requirements. Usually, the rehearsal is a good place to meet so we can see the best place to film from. Can you insert still photographs of us onto the DVD?Yes - Still photographs of the bride and groom growing up can be inserted. The charge for up to 12 stills added is £20. What are the 'Highlights'?The Highlights is a short montage which includes all the main events of the day set to a song of your choice. It's ideal to show all your friends, without them having to sit through the whole Wedding DVD. Many previous clients have said this bit is worth the money alone! What areas do you cover? We produce weddin DVDs in the whole of the North West particularly Lancaster, Carnforth, Morecambe, The Lake District, Lancashire and Cumbria. We’re also happy to travel further a field, just get in touch! Why Purple Videos?Purple is my favourite colour! |
